Almaden Country Day School's Collaboration with Maryam Library Foundation in Kenya

Upon receiving the Foundation's call for book donations, our school embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm. Our team meticulously sifted through the generous book donations from parents, carefully selecting over 300 books spanning various genres and age groups. This initiative is a testament to our unwavering commitment to promoting literacy and education on a global scale.

Recognizing the pivotal role that libraries play as essential community hubs fostering literacy, learning, and connection, the Maryam Library Foundation expressed their gratitude, stating that our book donation "has not only provided a valuable resource but has also ignited a spark of hope for the children of Kenya."
