The Imaginarium and Library Reimagined
For the past academic year, technology education and library experiences were delivered from classroom to classroom while the building that housed these activities was being remodeled. And while students could check out books, do research, code, learn to type, build websites, learn about augmented reality, and enjoy story time all from their homerooms, these popular activity hubs were dearly missed.
But no longer. In Fall 2022, students will be able to enjoy the newly renovated facility, including the Imaginarium maker space, the middle school science laboratory, and the library, which celebrated its grand re-opening during the Spring Book Fair in May 2022.
When designing these creative centers, the faculty had visions of how much these spaces could inspire students. The Imaginarium is ready for those who love to “make” projects that move and light up and can even play music on cue. And the library is already an inviting place; it hosted its first summer camp, “Above the Fold,” a joint venture of paper folding and learning about current events this past June.
