I am a computer scientist and leads R&D teams to develop advanced AI technology. I love the nurturing environment of ACDS where kids are encourage to be unique and creative while learning to be responsible and kind humans. I also love the support environment of ACDS for parents, especially dual-career families like mine.

About Me
I worked as an engineer in the tech sector for 15 years before quitting to take care of my daughter full-time. She has been enrolled in ACDS since 2019. Our whole family loves the school, its focus on kindness, the enrichments, and, of course, the academics as well. Calina played rec/comp soccer since she was 4.5. Most recently joined AFC comp soccer league. In addition shes playing basketball (NextLevel at Branham), flag football and choir (After school club). In her spare time she likes thrilling roller coasters, golf, dancing, movies and playing dress up.
About Me
My mother fostered a great love for our Mexican culture and my father embedded my deep Southern roots. I was born and raised in San Jose, graduated with a sociology degree from SJSU. I’ve spent the last 15 years in tech as an HR professional, championing community and inclusion. I love the arts—dance, musical theater, you name it! My faith positions me to spread joy and positivity!

My 2nd grader enjoys sports (soccer, baseball and gymnastics) and is also learning Mandarin over zoom. He enjoys video games, making videos in his free time. My Kindergarten child enjoys gymnastics, swimming and creative playtime. He loves dancing and singing with his brother.
About Me
We transferred from another private school. Regrading was a tough decision that turns out to be the best decision we have made. Both my children has blossomed into exuberant students under the immaculate care and teaching at ACDS. I am a consultant for an overseas firm and has been enjoying volunteering at ACDS, with this close-knit parent-teacher community.

We joined the ACDS community in 2020. I enjoy being active (Ironman finisher and current CrossFitter) and being a swim mom to our competitive swimmer! I am a dog-lover and a lover of good food. I work as a business executive in the biotech/pharmaceutical space.

I'm a mother of three. My youngest son is in the 7th grade & I have a son who is a 2024 alum and a daughter who is a 2022 alum. I left my job as a respiratory therapist several years ago and have been busier than ever since then. My son has loved his time at ACDS and previously as part of the TLC -The Learning Center.
