James Parks '98 and Ben Costa '98 were recently at ACDS for an author reading on the Fisher Event Center stage for their latest book Dungeoneer Adventures Book 1.  We will have more on James and Ben and their creative adventures in our next issue. 

Ben Hatch '99 and his wife Brittany welcomed their third son, Henry Robert Hatch, this past September. That makes fourteen grandchildren for beloved former ACDS music teacher Mrs. Julia Hatch, for those keeping track. The Hatch family resides in San Jose where Ben works in human resources. Ben performs regularly with various South Bay theater groups and thanks Mrs. Sherry Curtis for inspiring him to stay connected to his ACDS drama roots.

Elise Fisher '05 married Mike Snyder on October 15, 2022, in Boston at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter. Fellow ACDS alumni attendees included Elise’s siblings, Anne ’12, and Greg, and close friends, Michelle DeRienzo ’05, Chhaya (Werner) Latson ’05Sara (Sendig) Laone ’05, and Kevin Jaatinen ’05. Several former ACDS families also shared in the festivities. Elise and Mike honeymooned in Ogunquit, Maine, and recently purchased a home in Medford, Massachusetts.

Alexa (Hunter) Lundgren '06 and her husband, Levi, welcomed a third baby girl, Sadie, to their family on October 8, 2022. She joins sisters Stella, 8, and Skylar, 6. Alexa and her family live in Houston, Texas, and Alexa is currently pursuing a master's degree in social work.

Maya Kaul ’09, a Ph.D. student in Education Policy at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, was a guest on the podcast Research Minutes, where she and her co-author highlighted the findings of their paper, “Leading from the Middle: How Principals Rely on District Guidance and Organizational Conditions in Times of Crisis.”

Alyvia McIntyre '17 is the fifth player in Husson University volleyball history to reach 1,000 career assists.

Oliver Butcher '18 graduated from Saint Francis High School with Honors and was a National Honor Society member. He also received the Los Gatos Rowing Club’s Coach’s Award in recognition of his achievements with the club. Oliver is currently attending Louisiana State University’s Ogden Honors College.

Kaia Verhoeven '18  is attending Cal Poly SLO and majoring in Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine.

Guinevere Barnett '14 graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama with degrees in political science and French. Guinevere is attending law school at St. John's University in Queens, NY.

Anya Barrese '14 graduated from Seattle University with a BA in Environmental Studies and a specialization in Environmental Education, and Communication, and minor in Philosophy with a specialization in Ethics, Law, and Justice.

Andrew Budzinski '14  graduated from Chapman University with a BA in Strategic and Corporate Communications, and a minor in in economics.

Mrs. Jenn Senteio, Middle School TLC Teacher, and her husband, Antonio, are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Elio Martin Senteio. Elio made his debut on Friday, October 7 at 4:09pm, weighing in at 7lbs 14oz and measuring 20.5 inches long. Mrs. Senteio says, "We are over the moon to have finally met our beautiful, healthy baby boy."
