Save the Date: Parenting Workshop & Book Launch Event |
Thursday, November 3 from 6:30-8 p.m. Fisher Event Center |
Join us for the launch of the exciting new parenting book from family therapist and popular ACDS guest presenter, Sheri Glucoft Wong, LCSW, and ACDS Head of School, Dr. Ole Jorgenson. Sheri and Ole will read excerpts from their Amazon-bestselling book Raising Kids to reveal why everyday parenting is the most important influence on your children's development, on every front. Then, you'll have an opportunity to hear Sheri speak about one of her most-requested topics: Setting Limits With Kids "What parents consider 'misbehavior' is often kids simply trying to figure out how the world works. It's our children's job to wonder what happens when they try on different behaviors, and it's our job as parents to give them clear responses." Sheri will provide plenty of Q&A time to answer any questions you have about raising children, from toddlers through teens and across any topic. This live event is not to be missed and is appropriate for families with children in Pre-Kindergarten and beyond. Invitations to RSVP will be sent soon! |
