Apple Seed News Please No Food in the Classrooms
Beginning last year, we asked parents not to provide food for their children's classes (especially regarding birthday celebrations). This was in part to support our COVID-19 protocols, but it is also for the safety of children with severe and sometimes undiagnosed food allergies. We ask again that you please not bring food into the classrooms this year, including birthday celebrations -- we'll do games, songs, puzzles and more, and celebrate without the food. Any food delivered to classrooms will be sent to the office. Teachers are allowed to provide food for instructional purposes, and they will work with our Food Allergy Resource staff member, Mrs. White, to ensure that the food is safe for everyone to consume. Any food would be consumed outdoors and with physical distance in accordance with COVID guidelines. Thanks very much for your consideration and cooperation as we keep all of our children safe on campus. Need to change or cancel your student’s Pasta Market order?
If your child has a lunch ordered on a day when they are absent, you can cancel the order prior to 6 a.m. on that day. If it is too late to cancel and you would like to pick up the lunch, please notify the front office by 10:30 a.m. We will have it ready for you to pick up at 12:15 p.m. Lunches are not saved for the next day. To cancel or modify your previously placed orders, please follow these instructions: Lunch Order Cancelations or Modifications
