Reminder: Pumpkin Carving TONIGHT from 7-9 PM for Pre-K-5th grade families

If you haven't RSVP'ed for tonight's event, we'd love to have you -- please bring your own pumpkin (BYOP)

For all, please remember to:

• Bring your own pumpkin carving tools
• Dress in layers as the weather will get chilly
• Bring chairs, blankets/mats for sitting during the entertainment (optional)
• Eat dinner and snacks at home prior to arriving on campus; there is no food or drinks (other than water) allowed. Water filling stations are available so please bring your own refillable water bottle
• Wear a mask at all times except for while drinking water
• Do not bring scooters or bikes to the event due to limited light

If you would like to volunteer, we’d love to have you! In particular, the PSA needs help with setup before the event. Please click here to volunteer.

Reminder: Middle School Social TONIGHT from 7-9 PM for middle school students

• Please bring the permission slip for entry
• Costumes are encouraged but not required! There will be a costume contest with prizes awarded in the following categories: Most Original, Funniest, and Best Duo or Group.
• The social is chaperoned by faculty only. No parents, please
• There will be no slow dances in order to maintain physical distancing
• No food or drinks will be served. Water may be sipped outside
• Once admitted to the social, students are not permitted to leave the dance until picked up by a parent at 9:00 PM
• Please watch for an email from Coach McIntyre about drop-off and pick-up instructions 

We hope you enjoy the Halloween festivities. Please note that there is no school for students on Monday, November 1, for teacher in-service.

Join in the first chat of the year with Dr. Jorgenson at 10am on Wednesday, November 3. Chats are informal -- Dr. J will share a few updates and invite questions on topics of interest to attendees. The Zoom link will be emailed to parents on the morning of the Chat. See you there!

Stop by between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to tour next year's classrooms, talk with teachers, and view student classwork and projects. Current students, their families, and their friends are always welcome at our open houses. Can't make the open house? Applications for the 2022-23 school year open on November 1. If you are considering ACDS for another one of your children for next year, apply online by December 2 for an early decision (January 31). The ACDS Book Fair will be online this fall and take place from Monday, November 15 through Monday, November 22. We can't wait for you to see all the amazing books that will be available for you to purchase! All purchases made online AND in-store at Hicklebee’s during the book fair week (books, games, toys, etc.) help us reach our book fair goals!
