SAVE THE DATE! We are excited to celebrate "under the stars" for the first time, on campus! More and exciting information to come...stay tuned! Who: ACDS Parents, Faculty, and Alumni (21+)
What: Under the Stars! Auction and Benefit Soiree (ticketed event) Where: ACDS Campus & Fisher Event Center (Food and drinks will be outdoors. Masks will be required indoors) When: Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 5:30-10:00 p.m. Why: ACDS hosts an annual auction and benefit soiree where funds raised will directly help with essential classroom and curriculum needs, and support professional development programs for teachers. Donations for Auction Needed
If you or a loved one have items you wish to donate, the Auction committee will be grateful for your support. In the past, parents have generously donated items such as: - Wine
- Vacation homes
- Sporting events/seats
- Gift baskets
- Signed memorabilia
- Group dinner packages
- ...and more!

ACDS Summer Camps for our Younger Students In addition to the camps we teased last week, we are excited to share camp offerings for our students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade! Our currently-enrolled Pre-Kindergarten students can choose from: - Little Explorer Camp
- Adventure Camp
- Kinder Cougar Camp (for rising Kindergarteners and current Pre-K students)
Our currently-enrolled Kindergarteners can choose from: - Afternoon Activities & Games Camp with Coach McIntyre
- For rising 1st-6th graders
- Gardening Galore with Ms. Devon Maultsby
- For rising 1st-3rd graders
- Recycled Art Camp with Mrs. Jane Murphy & Miss Kelly Murphy
- For rising 1st-5th graders
- S.T.E.A.M. Summer Fun with Mrs. Alison Comerford
- For rising 1st-2nd graders
Also, two camps have been added for those who are interested in learning and improving their volleyball game! More information is on its way. Do you have ACDS Library Books on your Shelves? If you find ACDS library books still gracing your shelves at home from previous years (excluding birthday books) we would love to welcome them back to “roost.” Please bring them to the front office, and let Mrs. O know that you are delivering books for the campus library. For questions, please email librarian Mrs. Heather Arguello. GOTR is ready to rock & RUN! Girls on the Run at ACDS starts soon! There are a handful of spots open for girls in Grades 3-5. We hope your daughters can join us! Who: Girls in grades 3-5 What: Girls on the Run When: Wednesdays and Fridays 3:15-4:45 PM, starting March 16 and ending with a 5K @ Vasona Park on May 21* Where: Blacktop track @ ACDS Our three parent-coaches are excited to get this season started! Registration is open now and will remain open until Monday, 3/14. Please contact Kristen Ingalz if you have any questions about Girls on the Run or how to register. * With the exception of Friday, March 18, Spring Break (April 11-15), and Friday, May 20. This is the current schedule; parents will be notified if there are any changes. Bingo Night - Buy Tickets Now Date: Saturday, April 30, 2022 Time: 6 - 9 p.m. Who: ACDS Parents, Alumni, Faculty, and Friends Location: Fisher Event Center, ACDS Campus Cost: $40 Per Person (21+ only) Bring your competitive spirit to a raucously fun Bingo Night! Your ticket purchase benefits ACDS student-athletes and includes light finger foods, 10 bingo games with prizes for the winners, and two raffle tickets. Bingo will take place inside the FEC, and masks will be worn indoors at all times. Food and drinks will be consumed outdoors. This is a 21+ event.  THANK YOUS Thank you to our parent volunteers for volunteering for COVID testing prep and day-of testing assistance. We are so grateful! Thank you to our parent ambassadors who did an incredible job of showing off our school to our prospective families during the school-day open house -- you’re amazing!
