When's the Book Fair? Next Week! Starting Tuesday, May 17, we look forward to cutting the ribbon on our brand new Library! And what better way to celebrate our Library’s grand opening than an in-person book fair. Keep an eye out for an email from Mrs. Arguello on Monday with more book fair details, such as special events, raffles, limited-edition merchandise, and more. Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Tuesday, May 17 at 7:45AM Come one, come all, and be the first to shop at the book fair! Book Fair Schedule: May 17-23 from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM Masks will be required inside the Library during the book fair as the building is not yet outfitted with the ActivePure system, and there will be limited ventilation due to the windows and nana wall not yet being able to open. The space will be crowded with all the grades mixing together, and we want to provide a safe shopping experience. Want to order birthday books for summer birthdays or just as an end-of-year surprise? Ordering your birthday books during book fairs makes your donations go the extra mile by helping the Library hit its book fair sale goals. Mark Your Calendars! "Beyond Pandemic Parenting," a Zoom workshop with Sheri Glucoft Wong, LCSW Wednesday, May 18, 2022 | 6:30-8:00 PM The past two years have challenged parents, children, and teachers alike as we've managed the pandemic's impacts on our home and school lives. Join esteemed parenting expert and family therapist Sheri Glucoft Wong and learn about managing the challenges associated with pandemic and re-entry parenting and making transitions to summer and more familiar lifestyle territory. Sheri will provide a short presentation and then open up most of the time for questions. Remarks will be recorded, but the invaluable Q&A will not, so parents are urged to tune in live for the workshop. The Zoom link will be provided on the day of the workshop. You're Invited to the Board of Trustees "State of the School" Presentation (on Zoom) May 24 | 7:00-8:00 PM May 25 | 9:00-10:00 AM The Board of Trustees and ACDS Administration are preparing the 2021-2022 State of the School information.
