ACDS Band and PEP Band Registration

There are two bands on campus: ACDS Band for those in grades 3-8 who are just starting out and PEP Band for middle school students with more musical experience. The PEP Band is a big part of the school spirit when they play for rallies and sporting events while ACDS Band members will play in concerts for the school community.

Please use the form below to register your student for the band that is the right fit for their experience. 

ACDS Band
Who: For beginners in grades 3 to 8
When: Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:20am - 7:50am (starting 9/27/17 until Winter Break; resumes 1/10/18)
Where: Auditorium
Cost: $ 425 for the year (includes band shirt)
Conductor: Chris Reed of Shelter Arts provides this terrific experience for the students. Instruments available include flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, and percussion.You can choose from any of the aforementioned instruments which can either be rented or purchased. Prices can vary from $25 to $50 dollars a month. Some options include Music Village (musvil.com) and Park Avenue Music Center (1717ParkMusic.com).

PEP Band
Who: For more experienced musicians in grades 6 to 8 (5th graders may join in the spring)
When: Tuesdays from 7:20am - 7:50am (starting 9/26/17 until Winter Break; resumes 1/9/18)
Where: Music Room
Cost: $275 for the year
Conductor: Music Teacher Ms. Corinne Leary will be providing the direction and instruction for this band.

What to bring to practices: 1) Instrument of choice 2) Essential Elements Music Book for your instrument and 3) Fold-up music stand (the last two items are available on Amazon) Important note: Please label items #1-3 with student's name.

Concert: November 30 - 10am to Noon for grades K-8 and 6:30pm evening performance
