Class Supply List (by grade)
ACDS will provide the majority of classroom supplies. In addition, each grade has a list of supplies that need to be provided including a medication and/or comfort kit which will be kept on campus. Like the shortened supply lists, most of the emergency supplies will be provided by ACDS. Families must provide any required medication in case of emergency. For Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students, families may also choose to provide an item that will comfort the child.
|Class Supply Lists (by grade)||and Medication Kits|
|Junior Kindergarten||Fifth Grade|
|First Grade||Seventh Grade|
|Second Grade||Eighth Grade|
|Third Grade||The Learning Center (TLC)|
ACDS is working with Pasta Market, our school lunch provider, to develop a program in line with the Santa Clara Guidelines for safety during COVID-19. We will keep you posted. Learn more about The Pasta Market hot lunch program and how to order.
School Uniform Information
ACDS is a uniform school. Parent Handbook has more information about uniform guidelines and ordering information.
Parents and visitors are required to wear a mask at all times, in all places on campus. Staff will wear masks except for when eating or drinking.
Based upon CDC recommendations, we all should wear face masks that provide the optimal degree of protection and safety. Please choose a multi-layered cloth or disposable face mask that fits snugly and is comfortable for long periods of wear. While on campus, please do not wear bandanas or handkerchiefs; thin, non-cotton neck gaiters; face shields worn solely, without a cloth mask; or face masks with exhaust valves.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures
Please use the carpool lane system for all children in grades 1 through 8
Please place a name card on your passenger side visor, showing the LAST name of the child
Please access the carpool lane from Winterset making a RIGHT TURN ONLY off Akio Way (see map below.) U-Turns at Akio and Winterset and Left Turns off Akio are prohibited.
Please follow the directions of carpool staff. Stay along the curb and do not exit the vehicle until instructed to do so.
Please have your children gather their belongings together before they exit from your car. This keeps the carpool lane flowing smoothly.
Please use the crosswalk to bring your child onto campus if you walk, or need to park your car. Walk your child across the street and on to campus if you are not in the carpool lane. It is unsafe for any child to cross the street or parking lot alone.
Please make sure your children stay on sidewalks and do not cut through the grass, garden areas, or parking lots.
Please find a space on an adjacent street or wait until carpool is over if you have office business. Parking in the Trinidad lot is for teachers and guests only. As above, during carpool the parking lot is for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten families only.
Please respect our neighbors and refrain from blocking, or turning in, their driveways.
Please keep the yellow curbside clear at all times for emergency vehicles. Please do not leave your vehicle unattended along the yellow/red curb.
Visit the Jostens website to learn about the unique personalization options for your child. Each student enrolled at ACDS will receive a yearbook packed with student and family events from the year. This year you can be creative and add additional personalization to your child’s book to make their yearbook a unique copy just for them to treasure.
