Leadership Camps

This summer, ACDS offers leadership camps designed to equip students with the skills and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world. Through hands-on activities, real-world challenges, and collaborative teamwork, campers will develop critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Whether preparing for high school or exploring entrepreneurial and global leadership opportunities, these camps provide an inspiring environment where students can grow, learn, and take on new challenges—setting the foundation for future success.

CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Camps

Our CIT (Counselor-in-Training) program helps middle school students develop leadership skills through hands-on activities and mentorship. Focused on teamwork, communication, and responsibility, the program embodies the core values of Almaden Country Day School: childhood, balance, learning, and belonging. Students will practice Positive Discipline principles to foster empathy and problem-solving skills, with a practicum where they apply their learning by working within our camp system, preparing for future counselor roles.
